Dr Bradshaw aims to provide high-level, accessible and timely expertise to the Greater Sydney and Central Coast regions. He is a consultant hand and microsurgeon in the South Western Sydney Hand Centre, a major tertiary-referral metropolitan hand unit, where he performs major and complex reconstructive procedures for severe hand injuries. His comprehensive Central Coast Orthopaedics practice covers both hand surgery and broader orthopaedic surgery, such as hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr Bradshaw’s specialised area of interest is hand and wrist surgery, including microsurgery and arthroscopy, with a focus on minimally-invasive techniques such as endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery to potentiate rapid recovery after surgery.
Workplace injuries can be complex, and Dr Bradshaw has a strong interest in the coordinated treatment of injured workers. He works in collaboration with general practitioners, therapists, workplace rehabilitation coordinators, and other team members, to help return patients to work and maximal function safely and as soon as possible. Prior to his medical career he was a qualified physiotherapist, giving him a broad understanding of the issues involved in successful rehabilitation after injury.
Dr Bradshaw is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA), Member of the Australian Medical Association, and Member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society.
